The cargo compartment sidewalls and ceiling panels are parts which are damaged very often. Especially the curved ceiling panel corners always have cracks and damages. The AMM gives you several repair procedures, and one of them is stated in AMM TASK 25-52-01-300-808
5: Permanent Repair for the Contour of the Ceiling Shroud

Below you find some pictures of such a repair to give you an idea of how it looks like. It may also give you the correct idea that this repair strengthens the curved ceiling panels and protects them better for future impacts it will encounter. In general, cargo compartment lining repairs are stated in AMM chapter 25-52-01 and this one particular in AMM chapter 5-52-01-300-808.
